Occipital Neuralgia

I Don't Want To "Manage" My Pain!

I had suffered from mild to moderate and severe pain at the base of my skull for three years.  I finally gave in and sought help from a neurologist.  I was diagnosed with "occipital neuralgia".  Anti-inflammatory and pain relief meds were prescribed.  I was then referred to pain management therapy.

This was an eight week experiment with minimal benefits.  I did not want to "manage" my pain. I wanted to be PAIN FREE!

It was my own personal decision, for the first time in my life, to try chiropractic treatment.  Within two weeks, I felt great relief and in the following few weeks I was ultimately pain free.  I have to pinch myself sometimes to believe that after three plus years I am without pain in the area of the occipital nerve.  I recommend that anyone with this diagnosis try chiropractic treatment FIRST.
